A passionate and nurturing figure in the world of animation, Arnall championed the art form from his student days. He worked on Yellow Submarine (1968) before joining Halas & Batchelor as assistant managing director. He subsequently moved into independent production, and later worked on the Channel 4/Arts Council initiative animate!.
